NYC Liquid Eyeliner Review

NYC Liquid Eyeliner

When I purchased the NYC Liquid Eyeliner, I knew that it was used by the famous Chrissspy and Nikkie Tutorials. I actually thought that it would be like the other liquid eyeliners that I’ve used in the past, so my expectations for this were kind of low. Boy, was I wrong.

I actually love this eyeliner sooo much. It’s honestly become the only eyeliner I wear during the week. I keep it in my makeup nag and use whenever I don’t have time to do my eyeliner before I leave the house.

The first thing I love about this is the color of this eyeliner. NYC’s Liquid Eyeliner is a very pigmented eyeliner. I don’t even have to go over this more than once in order for it to be as black as I want it. I haven’t tried the other shade that they have, but I imagine with the sucess of this one it’s a close second, so if you are looking for a night out, glittery, New Year’s Eve kind of liquid eyeliner, then try out the #888 Pearlized Black along with the #887 Black.

Another thing that I love about this product is the formula. It isn’t a very thick formula, and it also istn too thin and watery either. I love that, it isnt as thick as a liquid gel, but not very liquidy. A good comparison would be with the Maybelline BB Cream. Not super thick, but definitely not sliding all over the place.

Lastly, and most importantly, I absolutely love the finish of this: its matte! It is a very nice matte though. It looks more matte and less drying in comparison to some liquid eyeliners that I have tried. The NYC Liquid Eyeliner’s finish is closer to that of a gel eyeliner, so I like that a lot. This eyeliner lasts me all day and doesn’t smudge all over the place.

The packaging of this eyeliner is very sleek and crisp. I love the applicator also. Its very easy to maneuver, however I have noticed if you don’t have enough product on the brush it will be very rough on your eye and irritate it a little.
