Earlier this year I purchased the NYX Eyebrow Gel in Espresso fro $6.99 from the NYX Cosmetics website. This comes with 10 mL, or .034 fl. oz. of product.
I ordered this online, so I was concerned about the shade that would be most appropriate for me. I was worried that the color would be off in comparison to my natural brow color, however it matched perfectly.
One thing that I can say is that a little bit of product goes a LONG way. I’m usually quite gracious when it comes to the amount of product that I use on my brows, but this is like none other. You literally have to use the tiniest amount of product in order to have more than enough.
Another thing that you have to be careful about is to work fast with this product. It dries extremely fast. I suggest to only do one brow at a time and then use concealer to clean them up if you have to because going over the already dried product with the drying product on your hand will turn into a gunky mess.
This NYX Eyebrow Gel is really, really, really, long lasting. I say this meaning that when I am applying this product to the back of my hand to do my brows, or taking off my makeup at night, it will not come off easily. This is a really big thing that I love in a brow product, so it doesn’t really bother me at all.
This eyebrow gel isn’t so much of a gel, rather it has the consistency of a mousse, which I actually kind of like. It is very easy to work with if you work on one brow at a time.
By using this product my eyebrow routine has been so much quicker.I use a MAC 266 Small Angled Brush to apply this brow gel and it works perfectly.
This product claims to be a “pigmented eyebrow gel that fills, defines, shapes, and enhaces” the brows. I personally think that this is true. I love the way that this product fills in my brows.
All in all, I really like this product and I will most definitely be repurchasing this product.
